[book review] Jodie Ellen Malpas - This Woman Forever (Jesse POV #3)

  THE LORD IS BACK! What a ride! And it's out now!  I finished this book last night around midnight and I'm still overwhelmed. I can't actually put into words how excited I first was when the This Woman Series was announced. And I also can't put into words how eternally grateful I am for Jodie that she actually gave us Jesse's POV in three amazing and chunky books!  You're an estate agent. - Which makes me one of the best salesmen on the planet. I could sell condoms to a convent of nuns. I finally had time after a few very stressful weeks of work and this beauty only sitting in my kindle because I worked, showered and fell into bed. But now, with my holiday here and having a few days of calm, I got this baby done in 3 days. And I absolutely adored every page! Jesse was the first of Jodies men I had the pleasure to meet. [bookreview] R L Davennor - The Hells of Notre Dame (The Phantom Of Notre Dame #1)

  When I first signed up for this ARC I had not really an idea what this was about except that I needed to read it because first "Hunchback of Notre Dame" and "Phantom of the Opera" combined in one! Sign me tf up!  To my shame, I'm not fully finished with the book yet (life got in the way like usual so I apologize and try to finish it asap and finish this review as well) but so far I'm truly enjoying it!  Here's the official synopsis first: One night was all it took. I should have stayed away. I should have thrown away her scarf, banished Esmeralda from my mind, body, and soul, and never thought or spoke of her again. Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is recognized as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and romantic love in many regions around the world, although it is not a public holiday in any country. Yup that's the official explanation from the English Wikipedia page.... Just let it sink in.... I think you know what I want to say, don't you? Yes! The word commercial is in this sentence... And every year I ask myself: Why is everyone making such a fuss about this? Why can't you say the same on the 12th January or 25th June? Why only at this year? People buy flowers and chocolate, go and have dinner and buy cards and stuff but why? I mean if you really truly love someone, you can buy them flowers on their Birthday or any other day of the year just to make them happy and tell them you love him/her, don't you? EVERY OTHER DAY OF THE YEAR! So please explain to me - if you celebrate Valentines Day - why this day? I truly don't get it... It is a myst...
